2011 Bike the Bricks

JOIN THE FUN!

Bicycles can be a vehicle for positive change.  By participating in the ride you become part of a cycle of change as you team up with Safe City Commission and local businesses to make a difference in our community and the air we breathe.

Enjoy the family friendly leisurely ride through downtown Fort Worth then on to the scenic bike path at the Trinity River, through the Fort Worth cultural district and then back to downtown for a total of 8.5 miles. Following your ride, join in the festivities at Sundance Square.  Family friendly fun including a kids bike rodeo, Fort Worth Fire Department and Police Department personnel and equipment will be there along with the Fort Worth Police Bike Patrol.

At the event:
Registration at event opens at 8:00 a.m.
Join us on Main Street and meet members of the Fort Worth Polic Department Bicycle Unit, Fort Worth Fire Department, sponsors and vendors to learn more about family health and safety.

No registration fee required.  Donations gladly accepted.

T-Shirts commemorating the event will be on sale for $10 
at the Safe City Commission booth located on Main Street.

Proceeds from the event will be given to the Fort Worth Bike Patrol Support Group.

Riders are required to wear the appropriate bicycle safety gear including a bicycle helmet.  The rider waiver must be signed prior to the start of the rally.
