Downtown Fort Worth Incorporated Police Bike Patrol Officer of the Year Award

The Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. Bike Officer of the Year Award is presented to the Downtown Bike Officer who, in the estimation of the Neighborhood Policing District 1 Lieutenant, is the most outstanding officer for that year in Neighborhood Policing District 1. The Officer receives a plaque and a check for $200 from DFWI and public recognition of that officer at either one of their quarterly membership luncheons or at their annual meeting luncheon. The Officer is recognized and receives this award at the Fort Worth Police Bike Patrol Citizens Support Group annual appreciation dinner and awards ceremony.
